Event report
A trade fair with special requirements.
We were able to realize an extraordinary project at the IAA Commercial Vehicles 2024. The task was initially quite straightforward: two of our Expandable POD roadshow modules were to be used for our customer Knorr-Bremse during the IAA Commercial Vehicles. During the course of the project, the containers were integrated piece by piece into the trade fair structure and finally found their final position on the trade fair stand at a height of three meters. Despite strict trade fair guidelines and short set-up times, the 6-tonne PODs were successfully lifted into position and put into operation.
Furthermore, eila took care of the desired individualization of the units to comply with the location guidelines. For the interior, eila designed and produced a certified fall protection system and applied splinter protection films. As the highlight and “eye-catcher” of the trade fair appearance, the two containers ultimately housed nothing less than the latest generation of prototypes. A key element in the design of the trade fair stand and the reason for using the expandable pods was the omnipresent theme of sustainability. All components of the “container castle” were chosen so that they could be reused.
This was a double success for eila, as we were able to start a Europe-wide roadshow from Hanover after the IAA Commercial Vehicles to present the new technology to end customers.
We are delighted that, despite the challenging circumstances, we were able to meet all expectations and play our part in this exciting project.
