Event report

In 2010, the Vitaphone racing team competed in the 7th season of the FIA GT 1 world championship, a racing series, in which close-to-production super-/sports-cars are deployed. 12 teams and 24 vehicles competed in ten runs on international race courses.

The team around the former Formula One driver Michael Bartels won the FIA GT world championship in the team rating six times in a row (2005 - 2010) with the Maserati MC 12; in 2006, 2008 and 2009 the drivers' title, too. In the ongoing series, the Vitaphone Racing Team is placed amongst the highest ranks as well and has the potential of winning the title once again.

The event agency eila events accompanies the Vitaphone Racing Team to racing events on international race courses since the 2007 season.

Since the opening of the racing season 2008, the Vitaphone Racing Team represents itself in one of the newly designed hospitalities of the eila events event agency. Upon the drawing up of a comprehensive 3-D visualisation, the hospitality was renewed, improved and redesigned all around in the winter months, within the halls of eila events. The interior and exterior of the hospitality was enhanced through the generation of physio- and relax-rooms for the racing drivers, a VIP lounge, separated areas for the team and VIP guests and sun decks. Team and VIP guests benefit from the equipment designed to the highest standard.

Ranging from storage, maintenance, logistics and assembly/dismantling of all hospitality elements to catering and VIP care for all events, the team of eila events caters for a smooth execution.
