Knorr-Bremse - IAA Commercial Vehicles

A Trade Fair with Special Requirements

An extraordinary project was realized at the IAA Commercial Vehicles 2024. The task initially seemed quite straightforward: two of our Expandable POD roadshow modules were to be used for our client Knorr-Bremse during the IAA Commercial Vehicles. During the course of the project, the containers were gradually integrated into the trade fair setup and eventually found their final position on the exhibition stand at a height of three meters. Despite strict trade fair guidelines and short setup times, we managed to lift the 6-ton PODs into position and put them into operation.

Additionally, eila took care of the desired customizations of the units to comply with location guidelines. For the interior, eila designed and produced a certified fall protection system and applied shatter protection films. As a highlight and "eye-catcher" of the trade fair appearance, the two containers ultimately housed nothing less than the prototype exhibition of the latest generation.

A key element in the design of the exhibition stand and the reason for using the Expandable Pods was the omnipresent theme of sustainability. All components of the "container castle" were chosen so that they could be reused. For eila, a double success, as we were able to start a Europe-wide roadshow from Hannover after the IAA Commercial Vehicles to present the new technology to end customers.

We are pleased that we were able to meet all expectations excellently despite challenging circumstances and that we were able to contribute to this exciting project.
